We stopped here on the long drive from Portland to Las Vegas to do some business at the Budget rental car counter.
Feels partly like a diner, partly like a Mid-Westerner's living room. And it's on the second story of the Klamath Airport (Yes, Klamath gets a second story). It was homey and nice and probably would rate 2 stars in Portland. But, hey, it was totally unexpected and we were hungry, the food was fresh and the service excellent. No complaints from me.
If you find yourself here later in the evening, they have a bar too. I like to imagine it's *the* place to drink on a Friday night for the locals. -

I should have known better....It was the after church Sunday crowd at the airport. Only two waitresses working the entire restaurant. BLT sandwich was marginal and french fries tasteless.

The airport restaurant at Klamath Falls. How freaking random is that?
It's pretty good, too. I had a bacon cheese burger to the accompaniment of F-15s zooming around the place from the Air National Guard base next door.
We came in like 50 minutes before they closed for the day and there was no hurry at all. If you end up here (tho I dunno how), check the place out. -

We had a prime dinner last night. Meat was thin, cold and tough. We ordered the 8oz at $12.95 and were charged $16.95. I don't believe we will be frequenting this restaurant in the future. We were the only people there at 6pm so that should say something in its self.

Food is good and so is the service. I only rated it three stars because the hours are somewhat limited and my family usually must go elsewhere when we go out to dinner because they are closed.
